Zoning can provide optimum comfort with increased energy savings in your home by dividing a home into areas with similar heating and cooling needs and independently controlling the temperature in each area. Much like multiple light switches that independently control lighting in different rooms, with zoning, multiple zone thermostats or sensors control temperature in different areas of the home.

We recommend the Pro Panel zone control for most zoning applications, including residential and light commercial systems. The Pro Panel is a full-featured zone control with an app that makes setup and diagnostics easier. It can create 2, 3, or 4 zone systems out of the box, and you can daisy-chain multiple Pro Panels together to build a system with up to 16 zones.

Arzel Zoning Dampers

Arzel dampers are different. They are more reliable because of air-driven operation. A small pump in the zone control panel powers up to 35 dampers. Arzel Zoning dampers are connected with tubing, and installation is faster and easier than wiring 24-volt dampers. We also make custom sizes.

Arzel dampers produce virtually no sound because they do not have motors. Our competitors’ dampers have motors on each damper, so there is some sound in every damper location. Arzel dampers are powered by one small air pump in the panel box. This is the only source of noise for the system. When the panel is installed correctly, there should not be troublesome noise.
